What is the donation refund policy of HelpAge?
You can request for refun if you have made a duplicate donation, donated mistakenly, or for any technical reasons regarding the transfer. Request for a refund must be made by mail within 15 days of donating. In the mail, you must provide certain information, those are date of donation, the donation amount, payment method. If payment is made by cheque/draft, then the cheque/draft number. If the payment is made online, then the donation ID and payment gateway reference number, if available.
There are two reasons for which a refund will not be provided, and those are: First, if the donation has been allocated to a specific campaign second, if a tax exemption certificate has been issued and utilised.
