The 5 bookings we priced

We picked five activities that are listed on all three platforms and compared the same ticket type on each:

  • Shibuya Sky (Tokyo)
  • Gardens by the Bay (Singapore)
  • Harry Potter Studio Tour Tokyo
  • Shanghai Disneyland
  • Singapore Oceanarium

Prices on these platforms change by date and season. The numbers below are what we saw on 25 October 2026; if you see a different price at checkout, the date you selected is the usual reason.

What each promo code does to the final price

Platform Code Status on 25 Oct 2026 Condition
Klook YEARENDJPATT5 Working — 5% off All users
Trip.com GET5OFF Working — 5% off All users
KKday BLOG5OFF Working — 5% off App only, new users, one-time use

On Klook, the code took $0.95 off a $18.99 Shibuya Sky ticket, bringing it to $18.04. On Trip.com, the same ticket went from $17.21 to $16.34 after the code. KKday’s BLOG5OFF also gives 5% off, but only in the KKday app, only on a first booking, and only once — it will not apply on the website or on an existing account. KKday separately shows a $9 off offer in the app that needs a $150 minimum order, so it does nothing on a single attraction ticket. We test every code before listing it — see how we source coupons.

Where each platform is weaker

Klook — Confirmation depends on the activity. Some tickets arrive by email within five minutes; others take 24 to 48 hours. Refund terms also vary by listing: some are free to cancel, some charge a fee. Check the specific listing before paying. Current codes are on our Klook coupon codes page.

Trip.com — Refund and cancellation terms differ by category. Flights, hotels, trains and tour packages each have their own rules, so read the terms on each booking separately. See our Trip.com promo codes page.

KKday — Confirmation is not always instant. Some bookings confirm immediately; others wait for the supplier’s approval. See our KKday discount codes page.

Why a code gets rejected

  • New-user only: Many codes work only on a first booking. If you already have an account on that platform, the code will not apply — KKday’s BLOG5OFF is one of these.
  • App only: Some codes are rejected on the website and work only inside the platform’s app.
  • Minimum spend: Some codes need a minimum cart value. KKday’s $9 off requires a $150 order.
  • Excluded categories: A code may be valid for one category only. A 5% flights code will not work on attraction tickets.
  • Region-locked: Some codes are limited to users in a specific country. A Japan-only code will be rejected from an account registered elsewhere.

What we’d do

For Japan, book on Trip.com or KKday — they were within a cent of each other on the Harry Potter Studio Tour and tied at $17.21 on Shibuya Sky, while Klook charged $1.64 to $4.13 more. For Singapore, book on KKday: it was cheapest for both Gardens by the Bay ($17.82) and the Oceanarium ($21.90), and the Oceanarium gap alone is almost $20. For Shanghai Disneyland, book on Klook, which was $3.31 below Trip.com. If it’s your first KKday booking, use the app with BLOG5OFF for a further 5% off; if you’re booking several activities at once, its $9 off $150 app offer is worth checking too.
