Which Smartwings Code to Use
| Offer | Code | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| $30 off any product | Smarthome30 | orders under $300, such as one or two shades |
| 10% off | THOMASSAKARIAH10 | orders over $300 |
| 10% off sitewide | LXZ-LW32L5F | backup if the other 10% code is refused |
| 8% off orders over $800 | Firstbuy8 | large orders when neither 10% code works |
| 5% off smart shades and blinds | WELCOME5 | last resort when every other code fails |
The split is at $300. Below that, Smarthome30 wins: on a $179 light-filtering Nowa cellular shade, $30 off brings it to $149, while 10% only takes off $17.90. Above $300 the 10% codes pull ahead, though only just at first. Two $169.99 roller shades come to $339.98, where 10% saves $34 against $30. On a four-window order of $1,200, 10% saves $120 against $30. Firstbuy8 never beats a working 10% code. At its $800 minimum it saves $64 while 10% saves $80, so it’s only worth trying if both 10% codes get turned down. Shipping is already free, so the code is the only discount you need to think about.
Money Tips: Order Swatches First
Every SmartWings shade is custom-made, and you cannot return these orders for a refund unless you have received a defective order. Avoid the mistake of picking the wrong colour or opacity. Some saving tips are:
- Measure Twice: You can cancel or apply for an exchange within 24 hours of placing the order. For ordering the right product, use the SmartWing’s measuring guide for windows, doors, and speciality windows.
- Order all your windows together: the shipping is free with no minimum order amount. But you will get an 8% discount; with this, you can save more on bigger orders. For example, if you buy 6 shades at about $180 each, then you can get a discount of approximately $86 off.
What Smartwings sells and what it costs
Everything is made to order and cut to your window size: roller, cellular (honeycomb), zebra, woven wood, Roman, dual, outdoor and hardwired shades, plus drapery. There are also skylight, trapezoid and arched cellular shades for the awkward windows most blind shops won’t touch.
Starting prices on the collection pages run from $159.99 for a blackout vinyl roller shade to $559 for a premium day/night skylight cellular shade. Most roller shades sit between $169.99 and $199.99. The final price goes up with your measurements. Accessories are cheaper: a TapTech remote wall switch is $39.99 and the smart sunlight sensor is $79.99.
Fabric swatches cost $3.50 to $10.49. Order them before you buy, because a custom shade can’t be sent back just because the color looks different in your room. The motors and controls come with a 3-year warranty.
Smartwings site, Amazon or Walmart
Smartwings runs an official brand store on Amazon, with listings for motorized roller shades, Zigbee blackout roller shades and fabric samples. Its motorized cellular shades also turn up on Walmart.com through a third-party seller.
We couldn’t find anything showing that one channel is cheaper than the others, so compare the final price yourself. What’s clear is that the codes on this page only work at smartwingshome.com. The full range, including skylight shapes, drapery and dual shades, is also on the brand’s own site.
Returns, Cancellations and Warranty
- Returns: If you have received the wrong or defective product, you can return it within 30 days of delivery of the order. You can return only standard and non-customised products. Make sure to return the package unopened and in its original packaging.
- Customised Products: these products are non-returnable for a refund or exchange, unless you receive them defective.
- Opened Accessories: if you have opened the accessories, then you will be charged 15% restocking fee.
- Cancellations and changes: you can apply for cancellation and changes in your order within 24 hours of placing the order.
- Warranty: They offer 3 years of warranty on motors and controls. If there is a workmanship defect in your order, or you have received the order in the wrong size or fabric, or if the items are broken in shipping, then they will repair or replace the order.
- Not Cover: Items that are not covered in warranty are normal wear and tear, incompatible accessories, incorrect installation, misuse, and events like fire and floods.
Sale Calendar: When SmartWings Discounts Change
- Current Sale: You will get 8% off sitewide, free shipping, and 50% off fabric swatches.
- Black Friday and Cyber Monday: These discounts come in late november.
FAQs
Can I use two Smartwings codes on one order?
Plan on one code per order. On a basket under $300, use Smarthome30 for $30 off. Over $300, a 10% code saves more.
Do I need a code for free shipping?
No. Shipping is free worldwide on every order, with no minimum and no code, and that includes custom-sized shades. Some oversized shades only ship within the US.
Can I return a custom shade if I don’t like it?
No. Custom and configured-to-order products can’t be returned or exchanged unless they arrive defective. You can cancel or change an order within 24 hours of placing it for a full refund, so double-check your measurements before that window closes.
Is Firstbuy worth using?
Only as a backup. It gives 8% off orders over $800, and either 10% code saves more at any basket size. On an $800 order, that’s $64 against $80.
When is the best time to buy Smartwings shades?
Black Friday. In 2025 Smartwings offered 10% off sitewide and 15% off orders over $1,500, so a large order can come out ahead of the 10% codes during that sale.
